Tibetan Shakyamuni Buddha Meditation Wall Hanging
Seated beneath the revered Bodhi tree, Buddha Shakyamuni is shown in a deep state of meditation. A monk's alms bowl, which represents an abandonment of material pleasures and simplicity, is held in his left hand. In the Bhumi-sparsa mudra, his right-hand makes a strong motion that asks the Earth to witness his enlightenment. The ultimate purpose of meditation is to achieve inner peace and wisdom, as symbolized by the serene and tranquil expression on Buddha's face. This Thangka is a wonderful addition to any meditation or shrine area. It can be used as a source of inspiration or as a visual aid for mindfulness exercises and spiritual practices.
