Chenrezig ( Avalokitesvara) is placed in the center of the thangka. He is seated on the lotus seat in a meditation posture. Chenrezig has 1 face and 4 arms. His first two hands are in a devotional gesture, his right hand holds a crystal rosary and a fully bloomed lotus in his left hand.
Chenrezig is the most revered of all Bodhisattva, embodying the compassion of all Buddhas. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.

As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
