About Our Product
This Crowned Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is a handcrafted Himalayan Buddhist artwork measuring 40cm in height, 24cm in length, and 16.5cm in width, with a weight of 6.55 kg. Made from a copper body with 24K gold plating, acrylic colors, gemstones, coral, and turquoise embellishments, this sacred sculpture represents Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha who shared the teachings of wisdom, compassion, and liberation.
This Shakyamuni Buddha statue is shown seated on an ornate lotus base, representing purity, spiritual growth, and the path toward enlightenment. His right hand rests in Bhumisparsha Mudra, touching the earth as a witness to his awakening beneath the Bodhi tree, while his left hand rests in Dhyana Mudra, holding an alms bowl that symbolizes simplicity, renunciation, wisdom, and the path of spiritual practice. The beautifully crafted crown, necklaces, earrings, and ornaments highlight the crowned Buddha form, where the crown symbolizes the awakened qualities of a Buddha, the accumulation of wisdom, and the transformation of worldly understanding into enlightened awareness. The crown also reflects his status as a fully awakened teacher who possesses spiritual sovereignty rather than worldly power. The body is adorned with colorful gemstone, coral, and turquoise details that enhance the sacred appearance, while the flowing robes, peaceful facial expression, and carefully painted features reflect the traditional artistry of Himalayan Buddhist sculpture.
This Crowned Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, temples, and sacred home spaces. Revered as the teacher who revealed the path beyond suffering, Shakyamuni Buddha inspires mindfulness, compassion, wisdom, and a peaceful mind. Placing this sacred Buddha sculpture in a spiritual environment serves as a reminder of awakening, balance, and the continuous journey toward enlightenment.
Introduction of Crowned Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama, born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, was raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around the age of 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He renounced his lavish palace life, giving up his magnificent robes and gold to discover the causes of this anguish and find a remedy. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he achieved his goal, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He then taught that he had visited a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), near Varanasi, India.
