At each directional gate, Makara guardians surround the Buddha. These legendary creatures, admired for their intense protective abilities, serve as divine sentinels, maintaining the integrity of the enlightened world. A visual depiction of the unfolding route to enlightenment is provided by the Lotus Petal circle, which marks the next sacred boundary and serves as a symbol of purity and spiritual awakening.
With its beautiful 24K gold detailing, The Outer Circle: Cosmic Dimensions symbolizes the enormous interconnectedness of creation, where the Buddha's boundless wisdom permeates every world. The Ring of Protection, a brilliant outermost shield that protects the mandala's purity by fending off ignorance and bad influences, completes the sacred structure.
Buddha Shakyamuni and his disciples are seen above the Mandala, representing the transmission of Dharma and the inheritance of wisdom through the generations.
