Dzambhala, Deity Of Wealth Thangka Print
Dzambhala, the Deity of Wealth, is seated with his right leg drawn in and his left leg in the periphery. The thangka print portrays him against a blue background, with trees and flowers blooming around him. With ritual offerings in front of him, he sits on a lotus seat adorned with a Bodhisattva's crown, precious ornaments, and patterned silks. He has a big tummy, and His mongoose Nehulay, which he holds in his left hand, is his most distinguishing feature. Nehulay, continuously vomiting jewels, represents Dzambhala's conquest of the nagas (snakes)—a medical citron fruit in his right hand, with therapeutic effects such as fever reduction.
