Goddess Saraswati Tibetan Buddhist Print
In Tibet, Saraswati is called Yang Chen Ma or Yang Chen Drolma, the Music or Singing Goddess and the consort of Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom. She is revered as the divine embodiment and bestower of enlightened eloquence and inspiration and is the patroness of the arts, sciences, music, language, literature, history, poetry, and philosophy. Those engaged in creative pursuits in Tibetan Buddhism regard her as their guiding light. Saraswati is believed to be the peaceful manifestation of Palden Lhamo, the Glorious Goddess.
