Description
Green Tara Dolma Thangka | Tibetan Artwork for Spiritual Protection
Thangka of Green Tara Dolma is a potent depiction of Tara, the beloved Tibetan Buddhist bodhisattva of compassion and swift protection. Her right foot outstretched and seated in the royal ease posture represents her willingness to assist anybody who calls upon her. Her granting mudra and the blue utpala lotus she holds embody purity, generosity, and enlightened insight. Her beautiful grace, strength, and tranquility are captured in this thangka, which makes her a continuous guardian and guide for spiritual practitioners. The Thangka is hand-painted on cotton canvas using genuine 24K gold and natural stone hues.
Her five-jeweled crown and elaborate jewels surrounding her body reflect her divine and regal nature. The lotus seat represents purity, while the moon disc she sits on strengthens her link to wisdom and altruistic behavior. The detailed hues, particularly in her outfit, shine with 24K gold accents, giving the image a brilliant and spiritual character, as she watches over all beings with compassion and readiness to act. Soft mountains and clouds in the thangka's background contribute to the peaceful ambiance that surrounds Green Tara. In addition to improving meditation and visualization techniques, this sacred work of art makes a stunning and profoundly spiritual focal point for altars, houses, or dharma centers.
