Green Tara Thangka | Painted with Natural Stone Color and Minerals| Tibetan Art

The Green Tara art frames Mother Tara in her Royal ease posture with a Blue Lotus stalk in her left hand and right-hand shows the gesture of Giving. Our Tibetan artist who specializes in traditional art has portrayed one of the main deities, who deal with confused and distracted beings, bringing us back to the original state. Tara is known primarily as “the one who liberates." Especially in the form of the Green Tara, she liberates sentient beings from the eight great fears.

Note: The Green Tara Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio, located at Boudha Stupa.

The Thangka portrays the Mother Deity Green Tara whose nature is considered as serene and helping. She emanated in a human form like ours- two arms, two legs, two eyes to connect with human beings and bring them towards Enlightenment. Her traditional costume and adornment are clearly depicted in the thangka.

The practice of Green Tara helps us remove fears and hindrances. And also develop the ability to benefit all the sentient beings.
