Padmasambhava, the renowned tantric master who brought Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet, is depicted in this beautiful Guru Rinpoche with Amitabha thangka. Guru Rinpoche is shown sitting on a lotus seat upon a moon disc, expressing spiritual mastery and knowledge. The traditional Karma Gadri style, in which Lhasa Stone adds rich textures and vivid colors to small details to create vibrant, lifelike images while maintaining a balance between clarity and depth, is reflected in this masterwork, which was carefully painted on cotton canvas using natural stone colors. The use of pure 24K gold delivers a radiant glow to the deity, reflecting his spiritual strength.
Guru Rinpoche wears a lotus hat decorated with a vulture's feather and a half vajra on top, representing his enlightened mind and unwavering awareness. As per your request for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to nearby monasteries/Rinpoches from Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask that you contribute $50 to the monasteries for these blessing/consecration services.
