Sacred Art of Jetsun Dolma
The Jetsun Dolma thangka is sacred art created by skilled artisans using natural stone pigments, mineral-based paints, and 24K gold highlights. These intricately detailed artworks serve as a spiritual bridge, connecting earthly and divine realms through their rich symbolism and artistic mastery, reflecting the artisan's devotion and deep understanding of Buddhist symbolism.
Jetsun Dolma, also known as Green Tara, is a revered figure in Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing compassion, protection, and swift action. She is depicted on a lotus throne, with her right leg extended and her right hand forming a mudra of generosity. Her left hand holds a blue lotus (utpala), symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. Her sacred art is believed to invoke her divine presence, offering protection from fears and spiritual challenges.
