About Our Product
This Machine Made Vajrakilaya Altar Statue is crafted from an oxidized copper body, measuring 12cm in height, 9.5cm in length, and 5cm in width, with a weight of 0.46 kg. The sculpture represents Vajrakilaya, a powerful wrathful meditational deity in Vajrayana Buddhism associated with awakened activity and the removal of obstacles. The dark oxidized surface highlights the elaborate crown, fierce facial features, multiple arms, ornaments, dynamic posture, consort, flaming aureole, and detailed lotus base, giving the sculpture a strong ritual presence for Buddhist altars and meditation spaces.
Vajrakilaya (Dorje Phurpa), also known as Vajrakumara (Dorje Zhonu, Youthful Vajra), is the wrathful Heruka deity that embodies the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. Vajrakilaya is one of the eight Heruka deities of the Nyingma tantras. Vajrakilaya is also the personal meditational deity of Guru Padmasambhava. He practiced meditation on Vajrakilaya when many obstacles manifested before his display of attaining enlightenment.
