She represents enlightened feminine energy and is renowned for her contribution to the spread of Vajrayana Buddhism, being one of the primary consorts of Guru Padmasambhava.

Mandarava, often revered as a great dakini and one of the first consorts of the renowned Guru Padmasambhava, played a pivotal role in the early dissemination of Buddhism in Tibet. Born as a princess in the ancient kingdom of Zahor, her life took a spiritual turn after meeting Padmasambhava. Together, they engaged in profound tantric practices, eventually achieving rainbow body and becoming immortal figures in Vajrayana lore. Her story is one of devotion, transcendence, and enlightenment, serving as an inspiring symbol of the spiritual path and the power of transformation through practice.
