Beautifully Hand-Painted Manjushri with Flaming Sword Thangka | Featuring Chenrezig and Vajrapani
This hand-painted Manjushri with Flaming Sword Thangka depicts the Bodhisattva of Wisdom sitting in the lotus throne. It is painted on cotton canvas with acrylic colors and adorned with genuine 24K gold. Manjushri's radiant, flaming sword lifts high above his head, symbolically cutting through ignorance. While the left hand gently cradles a lotus blossom that carries the sacred Prajnaparamita Sutra, a revered scripture embodying perfect wisdom. His peaceful expression and luminous halo convey enlightened knowledge and compassion.
Beneath Manjushri are two great deities: Chenrezig and Vajrapani. On the right is Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig), the embodiment of compassion, clutching a lotus and prayer beads to represent his promise to alleviate suffering in all realms. On the left is Vajrapani, the defender of wisdom and remover of obstacles, represented in wrathful form, holding a vajra (thunderbolt) and encircled by flames to burn away ignorance and negative energy. Together, these three create a divine triad—Wisdom (Manjushri), Compassion (Avalokiteshvara), and Power (Vajrapani), completing the Thangka's portrayal of enlightened attributes.
