Thangka of Precious Master, Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava)
The Master Guru Rinpoche Thangka, precisely drawn in accordance with the meditation instruction, is a sacred representation of Padmasambhava, the Great Lotus-Born Master. Revered as the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, representing knowledge, protection, and spiritual development. This Thangka is hand-painted in acrylic colors on superior cotton canvas and embellished with genuine 24K gold, demonstrating the expertise of the traditional Karma Gadri technique. It is appropriate for meditation spaces, sacred collections, or as a motivating attraction for spiritual practice.
The attributes of compassion, knowledge, and spiritual mastery are personified by Guru Rinpoche, who sits elegantly on a lotus throne. He is holding a skull cup with a vase in his left hand, which symbolizes the nectar of immortality and spiritual transformation, and a five-pronged vajra in his right, which represents the unbreakable strength of enlightenment. Resting against his shoulder, his katvanga, a trident adorned with prayer flags and other symbolic elements, signifies his mastery of challenges. The colorful lotus hat on top of his head symbolizes his enlightened state and deep wisdom.
