Beautifully Hand-Painted Mini White Tara | Longevity and Healing
A mini White Tara thangka is expertly hand-painted on fine cotton canvas using natural stone colors and genuine 24K gold. These ancient materials are meticulously sourced and processed to preserve their vibrancy and purity. The choice of natural stone hues imparts a radiant, glowing appearance to the artwork, ensuring the colors remain vibrant over time. The gold accents are skillfully applied to highlight Tara’s crown, jewelry, and sacred symbols, adding significant depth and luminosity. This thangka is created in the Karma Gadri style, renowned for its open composition, intricate linework, and flowing natural elements. Our skilled Tibetan thangka artists in the studio take exceptional care in crafting each piece.
White Tara, also known as Sita Tara, is a powerful female bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism, embodying long life, healing, serenity, and maternal compassion. She is depicted sitting in vajra posture, a symbol of purity and enlightenment. Her right hand is extended in Varada Mudra, offering blessings and compassionate assistance, while her left hand holds a blooming pundarika in the form of Abhaya Mudra, representing purity and wisdom. Her five-jeweled crown embodies the Five Wisdoms, and her seven compassionate eyes symbolize her all-seeing awareness and ability to respond to suffering. This thangka is rich in spiritual symbolism, making it an essential support for meditation, healing practices, and devotional rituals.
