Traditional Tibetan Namgyalma Painting | Sacred Buddhist Art of Healing & Enlightened Grace
A Namgyalma Painting, an original hand-painted thangka from our Enlightenment Studio, uses acrylic colors on pure cotton with 24K gold. It combines vibrant colors and gold shimmer to symbolize spiritual illumination and purity. Painted in the traditional Karma Gadri style, renowned for its elegance, delicate lines, and expansive landscapes, it embodies sacred artistry and meditative workmanship. Each stroke is infused with mantra and mindfulness, making it a vessel of spiritual energy and longevity.
This thangka depicts Namgyalma (Ushnisha Vijaya)—the Goddess of Longevity, Purification, and Compassion—with a radiant white body symbolizing purity and wisdom. She has three faces—white, yellow, and blue—representing peaceful, semi-wrathful, and wrathful aspects that dispel obstacles. Her eight hands hold sacred emblems, such as a vajra, an arrow, a lasso, a bow, a nectar vase, the Amitabha Buddha, and a double vajra, symbolizing her power to conquer illness, cleanse karma, and extend life. Sitting on a lotus and moon disc, with a halo radiating compassion and healing, her divine tranquility is enhanced by a soft mountain background.
Invite the soothing, healing energy and gentle grace of Namgyalma with this beautiful thangka, making it ideal for meditation, prayer, or display in your space. It embodies long life and purification, blessing your space with health, clarity, and peace.
