Mini Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha
Shakyamuni Buddhais an excellent statue for various home stylistic layout ideas. This small sculpture of Buddha was made around 2002. This was carved according to the proportions set in the Buddhist scriptures.The normal attributes that represent Shakyamuni like the alms bowl in his left hand, right hand in bhumisparsha mudra, har tied up in a knot, no decorations, long earlobes and wearing a monk's robe, with a tranquil look.
Shakyamuni Buddha, also called the enlightened one, was brought into the world as a prince. In his quest to finding the reasons of suffering of people, he left his castle life, surrendered his fine pieces of clothing and gems to track down the reasons for this affliction and the resources to overcome it. After many years of study, self-deprivation, and profound reflection he at last understood his objective. He became an enlightened one (a Buddha).
When offering to these sacred things that symbolize the Buddha, he cannot see the actual Buddha, but the benefits are equivalent to actually seeing the Buddha and making offerings. When we make offerings at the altar, we should be delighted every time we practice the offerings in our daily lives.
