Karma Gadri Thangka of Guru Rinpoche, "Om Ah Hum Vajra"
Invoking knowledge and spiritual protection, "Om Ah Hum Vajra" mantra, which is closely linked to Guru Padmasambhava, represents the purification of the body, speech, and mind. This miniature handpainted thangka, created in the traditional Karma Gadri manner, demonstrates the artisan's talent and commitment while preserving the spiritual essence of Tibetan art. Natural stone colors add earthy textures to the artwork, improving its authenticity and spiritual depth.
Seated on a lotus throne, Guru Padmasambhava is shown as serene and powerful. His left-hand cradles a skull cup, signifying the transformation of ignorance into spiritual illumination, while his right-hand holds a vajra, signifying unwavering wisdom and enlightenment. His royal garments, which are embellished with elaborate gold work, give the piece a heavenly glow.
