Introduction To Shakyamuni Buddha :
Shakymuni Buddha was born Siddhartha Gautama, the only son of a king from Nepal. At the age of 29, he renounced the luxury of his royal heritage to take up the life of a religious wanderer. At the age of 35, after gaining profound insight into the true nature of reality (Dharma), he attained complete enlightenment.
This means that he actualized all positive potentials of a sentient being and rid himself of all negative qualities. With this, he realized the true nature of existence and suffering (emptiness), and how suffering can be ended. Buddha continued to teach during his life, until passing away at the age of 81.

Buddhists believe that human life is a cycle of suffering and rebirth, but that if one achieves a state of enlightenment (nirvana), it is possible to escape this cycle forever.
