Note: Guru Rinpoche Thangka is an original painting from Enlightenment Studio located at Boudha Stupa.
Guru Padmasambhava is often referred to as Guru Rinpoche in Buddhism. Acrylic paint and 24-karat gold were used to create this thangka in the conventional Karma Gadri manner. He is posing in a royal manner while perched atop a moon disc lotus. He has a vajra in his right hand and a nectar-filled skull cup in his left. A colorful nimbus surrounds him, and a blue halo highlights his face of tranquility and serenity.
