Guru Rinpoche, or the "Lotus-Born," is venerated as a divine teacher and protector in Tibetan Buddhism, known for his role in establishing the Dharma in Tibet. In this representation, he has a calm but somewhat wrathful expression, signifying his capacity to drive out evil forces and lead followers to enlightenment. He balances wisdom and compassion while seated with a vajra (diamond scepter) in one hand and a skull cup in the other, representing indestructible strength and mastery over worldly illusions, respectively. The katvanga staff at his side represents his connection to esoteric wisdom and spiritual lineage. His lotus hat and seat highlight his purity, enlightenment, and transcendent power.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.
