About Our Ritual Item :
This Sacred Copper Buddhist Stupa represents the enlightened mind, revered across all Buddhist traditions. Measuring 10.5cm in height, it is ideal for use in personal shrines, meditation spaces, or as a symbolic spiritual gift. A stupa embodies the path to enlightenment and serves as a reminder of the Buddha’s teachings, making it a powerful focal point for prayer, offerings, and intention-setting rituals.
Expertly handcrafted by skilled artisans, this stupa features a copper base with intricate gold plating, giving it both spiritual and aesthetic value. Its classic shape, base, dome, and spire represent the five elements and the spiritual journey from earth to wisdom. The radiant gold plating not only enhances its visual beauty but also symbolizes the illuminating presence of enlightenment. Lightweight and compact, it offers the perfect blend of sacred tradition and elegant craftsmanship.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
