This Sakya Mahakala thangka is based on the collection of Dege Library. Dege Library is one of the iconic centres for publishing and printing dharma articles in the Kham region of Tibet. It has 800 years of history. we can still make a visit to this place living historic monument.
On this Mahakala thangka, we have an assembly of Sakya Masters like Sachen Kunga Nyingpo, Nairatyma, Ngorchen on top, Yidam just below the Masters and Dharmapalas at the bottom.
This thangka in a way is a complete set of Mahakala. As it has most of the Mahakala retinues like five brothers and sisters, Ekajati, Palden Lhamo, Brahmanrupa, and Cittapatti.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration service.
