Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha:
Siddhartha Gautama, born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, was raised to be a king according to his royal father's wishes. However, around the age of 29, he discovered the immense suffering people experience. He abandoned his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to uncover the source of this anguish and find a remedy. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he achieved his goal: nirvana, becoming a Buddha. He then declared that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, specifically Sarnath (Benares), India.
