Description
Tibetan Thangka of Standing Buddha Shakyamuni
Introducing the Standing Buddha Shakyamuni Thangka, an exquisite portrayal of the Enlightened Buddha who represents peace, wisdom, and compassion. This thangka captures the essence of Buddha Shakyamuni, the historical Buddha who attained enlightenment and shared the way of freedom. The thangka depicts him standing in a serene, meditative pose, expressing compassion, wisdom, and tranquillity.
Buddha Shakyamuni is portrayed in a standing position, expressing calm and knowledge. His right hand is raised in the abhaya mudra, symbolizing fearlessness and protection, while his left-hand rests in a teaching gesture (dharma chakra mudra), representing knowledge sharing and enlightenment. With calm surroundings serving as a backdrop to accentuate the Buddha's pure essence, the composition is both visually arresting and spiritually enlightening. The painting's vivid and well-balanced color scheme, which is created using natural pigments, evokes feelings of tranquility and peace.
