Description

Tibetan Supreme Healer, Medicine Buddha | Spiritual Healing Art

Our small hand-painted thangka of the Supreme Healer, Medicine Buddha, represents healing, compassion, and wisdom. Created from high-quality cotton canvas using natural stone hues, this piece showcases the traditional Karma Gadri style, celebrated for its balanced composition and meticulous shading methods. The use of mineral pigments from natural stones enhances color richness, radiating depth, vibrancy, and spiritual energy. The thangka's delicate details and soft gradients evoke a sense of serenity, making it visually captivating and deeply symbolic. Despite its small size, it possesses significant spiritual power, making it an ideal addition to personal altars, meditation spaces, or as a sacred offering for well-being and protection.

This thangka depicts the Medicine Buddha, who symbolizes purity, wisdom, and the illuminated mind. His lapis lazuli-blue body represents healing and the ability to alleviate suffering. He holds a Myrobalan medicinal plant, symbolizing his capacity to heal both physical and spiritual ailments. In his left hand, he carries a monk's alms bowl filled with healing nectar and Myrobalan fruits, representing the ultimate remedy for both diseases and mental afflictions. Draped in an ornate saffron-colored monk's robe, his figure exudes serenity and wisdom, reflecting his role as a guide towards enlightenment.
