Traditional Buddhist Thangka Manjushri
Manjushri, the Bodhisattva of Wisdom, is a renowned figure in Tibetan Buddhism who symbolizes wisdom and great compassion. He can be seen wielding a blazing sword, indicating his power to cut through ignorance and illusion, and holding a lotus blossom with the Prajnaparamita sutra, which signifies the Buddha's vast understanding. Practitioners seek Manjushri's wisdom in order to gain clarity, insight, and a better grasp of the nature of reality.
