Tibetan Compassionate Buddha, Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Painting
With Thousand arms signifying his capacity to reach out and assist sentient beings in every direction, Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara symbolizes the boundless compassion of all Buddhas. Avalokiteshvara's multiple hands hold holy items that symbolize his spiritual qualities: a bow and arrow signifying the union of wisdom and skillful means; a fully blossomed lotus signifying purity and enlightenment; a Dharma wheel signifying the teachings of the Buddha; and a crystal rosary signifying constant prayer. Additionally, a vase filled with the nectar of immortality, a representation of recovery and renewal is in his hand. His 11 serene faces represent his infinite forms and perspectives, while the deer skin draped over his shoulder signifies gentleness and renunciation.
Crafted with precision and devotion on canvas, this artwork captures the divine essence of Avalokiteshvara, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. Painted in vibrant acrylic colors, the intricate details of each hand, eye, and sacred ornament are highlighted by genuine 24K gold embellishments, radiating an aura of divine brilliance. The smooth texture of the cotton canvas ensures longevity and authenticity for this iconic piece. Each brushstroke follows the guidelines found in ancient meditation texts, transforming this Thangka into a sacred tool for in-depth meditation and spiritual connection in addition to being a work of art.
