Description
Compact Traditional Avalokiteshvara Thangka | Buddhist Sacred Art
Our Enlightenment Studio crafted this unique Traditional Avalokiteshvara Thangka, hand-painted using natural stone colors on high-quality cotton canvas. Its vibrant, sacred finish results from meticulous detailing and genuine 24K gold embellishments. Created in the traditional Karma Gadri style, developed by artists from the Karma Kagyu lineage, emphasizes elegance, openness, and intricate linework, portraying the deities as majestic and approachable. In this artwork, the pigments sourced from natural mineral stones impart a gentle luminosity, while the gold highlights amplify the sacredness of the figure with its radiant details.
Avalokiteshvara, known as the Bodhisattva of Compassion, is represented with four arms which symbolize his compassion and connection to all beings. His front hands grasp a wish-fulfilling crystal, a rosary for mantra recitation, and a lotus that signifies spiritual awakening. He is adorned with a five-jeweled crown, flowing silks, and deer skin, embodying gentleness and non-violence. His figure is positioned in vajra posture atop a moon disc and lotus seat, signifying purity and spiritual grounding. A serene halo encircles his calm and compassionate expression. This sacred art piece serves as a potent visual aid for meditation, fostering qualities such as loving-kindness, equanimity, and peace.
