About Our Product
This Traditional Samantabhadra Statue measures 22cm in height, 17cm in length, and 17cm in width, with a weight of 4.02 kg. Crafted from brass with an oxidized copper body, the sculpture presents Samantabhadra together with his consort Samantabhadri in a peaceful seated embrace. The dark oxidized finish is highlighted with green and golden details, bringing attention to their faces, hair, hands, and seated forms.
This Samantabhadra statue features Samantabhadra seated in a calm meditation posture while Samantabhadri embraces him, with her arms around his shoulders and head. Samantabhadra is the primordial Buddha in the Nyingma tradition and represents pure awareness, the original awakened state, and the true nature of mind. Samantabhadri represents wisdom and emptiness. Their close union symbolizes the inseparable connection between awareness and emptiness, wisdom and compassion. Their simple forms have very little ornamentation, expressing the pure awakened state beyond ordinary attachment. Samantabhadra’s hands rest peacefully in meditation near his lap, while the long flowing hair and gentle posture of Samantabhadri add balance to the composition.
This Samantabhadra sculpture can be placed on a Buddhist altar, meditation room, shrine, Dharma space, or spiritual collection. It can serve as a meaningful focus for contemplation and meditation, reminding practitioners of pure awareness, wisdom, compassion, and the awakened nature of mind.
This statue depicts Yab-Yum, a profound symbol in Tibetan Buddhism representing the sacred union of wisdom and compassion. The male figure, often a manifestation of a tantric deity such as Heruka or Chakrasamvara, embodies compassion and method, while the female consort signifies wisdom. Their embrace symbolizes the indivisible nature of these two principles, essential for enlightenment. Crafted in polished bronze, this sacred sculpture serves not only as a powerful spiritual tool for meditation and tantric practice but also as a meaningful addition to any altar or spiritual space.
