Description

The Wheel of Life Thangka, Tibetan Buddhist Mandala of Existence

The Wheel of life thangka is one of the popular and complicated subjects of Buddhism. We have painted this thangka with all the iconographic details accurate to help you contemplate this circle of Existence, according to Buddhist Philosophy. It took us almost 12 month to complete this hugely detailed Mandala.

Painted on the size of 20x30 canvas, every detail of each realm of existence is clearly portrayed here. We have used natural stone colors to create a subtler tone.

Wheel of life Introduction:

The wheel of life thangka is interpreted into several levels and is divided into six realms namely, God, Demi-gods, Animals, Hell, Human and Hungry ghosts. Each section is understood at different levels.

Wheel of life represents the essence of Buddhist teaching, the Four Noble truth, the sufferings, their origin, and the causes. The causes of all the deeds and their effects are reflected in this mandala painting.
