This Vajrasattva Yab Yum Thangka shows the Primordial Buddha in union with his consort Vajravarahi, a profound portrayal of wisdom and purity. The Bodhisattva of Purification is depicted sitting elegantly on a brilliant lotus base, signifying spiritual purity. He holds a bell in his left hand, symbolizing wisdom and emptiness, and a vajra (thunderbolt) in his right, representing unbreakable truth. Vajravarahi, his consort, symbolizes transcendental wisdom; she holds a kapala, or skull cup, in her left hand. This artwork is hand-painted with vibrant acrylic colors for a long-lasting finish. The 24K gold accents add a radiant, mystical touch.
