Description
Tibetan Yidam Vajrakilaya Thangka, Purification and Protection
Yidam Vajrakilaya, a potent figure in Tibetan Buddhism renowned for his capacity to remove spiritual barriers and encourage inner purification, is beautifully depicted in this Thangka. Following the traditional Karma Gadri style, this stunning thangka is meticulously hand-painted using vivid natural stone colors on high-quality cotton canvas and embellished with real 24K gold.
Vajrakilaya is portrayed in his wrathful form, representing the fierce energy required to destroy ignorance and delusion. He is shown wielding his characteristic phurba (ritual dagger), which represents cutting through obstacles while remaining firmly grounded in the earth beneath him. His three heads, each with a wrathful and determined expression, symbolize his vigilance against negativity from all directions. The six arms, each holding symbolic implements such as the trident and vajra, represent his multifaceted abilities to protect and guide practitioners on their spiritual journeys.
